Project Period
Project Period was created to raise awareness of period poverty amongst middle/high school-aged girls. We use this platform to help reduce the number of absenteeism at school. ONE in FOUR teens has missed class because of a lack of access to period products. Lack of access to menstrual hygiene products due to financial constraints is happening in the NWFL area.
Since August 2023, we have distributed 26,000 individual products into community schools.
If you would like to hold a feminine product drive, please email us at 4evrdez@gmail.com.
Brand Ambassador Program
Our Brand Ambassador Program seeks high school students interested in helping to impact their community, build leadership skills, inspire others, and support our mission, while earning community hours, empowering fellow students. Ambassadors are eligible for a scholarship opportunity at the end of their commitment.
Our nonprofit takes pride in educating our Ambassadors about the community they live in. Ambassadors are exposed to leadership planning, community networking, community resources and education resources leading to peer mentoring.
Peer to Peer Mentoring is the foundation of our Ambassador Program. The Program begins in August and goes through May.
Our nonprofit places girls from schools all over the county together building friendships and new connections in our community. We are growing and shaping future like minded women.
Ambassadors are part of a student lead movement which focuses on Girl Empowerment. Ambassadors take lead on our two movements (Project Formal & Project Period) while learning about community resources to help empower peers.
The core focus of our Ambassador Program is spreading information about healthy dating relationships. We use our movements to educate girls about self confidence, self worth, and healthy boundaries.
